history
In 1947, the Boss and Wilson families established B & W Resort, and for 30 years the two families owned and operated the marina. In 1977, Jim and Joan Deak purchased the resort and relocated their family from the LA area to the California Delta. In the years since, our beloved B & W Resort Marina has been owned and operated by Jim and Joan's children and their spouses. In 2022, Joe & Gretchen Deak took over running the resort, on what is the Marina’s 75th year of operations.
Located in the heart of the Sacramento- San Joaquin Delta on the Mokelumne River, B & W has one of the best locations for your vacation or weekend get-a-way. Our resort has 23 vintage cabins, a large shaded waterfront access, launching, boat slips, covered berthing, 24 hour gas dock, several outdoor venues, groceries, liquor, and a snack bar.
Whether you are looking for a family getaway, a place to fish, or a place to play on 1000 miles of waterways, we have it all.
